SICILIAN DINNER MENU

Have you ever dreamed of traveling to Italy, more precisely to Sicily? If the answer is yes, today I decided to share an all-Sicilian menu with you.

I’m sure that many of you have already had the fortune to visit this wonderful Italian region, and that have left a piece of  heart there.

That’s why I want  to bring some of that Sicilian atmosphere to your tables, sharing with you a 3-meals dinner menu, with just some of  the most loved Sicilian specialties, the most famous and tasty, sweet and traditional recipes.

Antipasto

As the Antipasto, I could not choose the Sicilian arancini, beloved throughout Italy and beyond! They can be made with different fillings, other than the classic version with Bolognese Ragù. For example I would recommend my version of arancini with ham and cheese.

Pasta will be the Main Dish

There are countless Sicilian pasta recipes, such as Pasta ca Muddica (Pasta with breadcrumbs), or pasta with Olives and Anchovies. For this menu I opted for Pasta alla Norma. It is a super simple dish that will really make you feel as if you were in Sicily!

The Sweetest of Desserts

As a dessert I decided to add ricotta donuts to this menu, called Sfinci, they are super simple to prepare and I’m sure you’ll love them! If, on the other hand, you have necessary time and want to prepare a more elaborate dessert, you can choose to serve the famous Sicilian Cannoli.
