Delicious Italian Christmas Menu Ideas
The holiday season is here (already!), and there’s nothing more magical than gathering around the table with loved ones to share a delicious Christmas meal. But with the hustle and bustle of the season, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by menu planning. So, this year we have put together a list of our favourite Delicious Italian Christmas menu ideas to help you create a feast that’s as stress-free as it is unforgettable.
Here is what I’ll be serving up!
First on our list of Italian Christmas menu ideas is…
Caprese Salad (Antipasto)
This simple antipasto shows off the vibrant colours of Christmas with ripe organic tomatoes, fresh basil, and creamy buffalo mozzarella drizzled with generous amount of extra virgin olive oil on top. A light, refreshing way to begin the Christmas feast.

No-knead Focaccia (Bread)
Next up in our list of holiday food, it’s time for bread—and my No Knead Focaccia is a must-try. Made with EVOO, fragrant rosemary, and sweet, juicy grapes, it’s topped with dreamy Stracciatella cheese (my choice is Vannella) for the perfect balance of savoury and sweet. Golden and crispy on the outside and pillowy-soft inside, this no-fuss recipe will fill your kitchen with the aroma of freshly baked bread—and won’t last long.

Lasagna (Primo Piatto/First Course)
Then comes the Primo Piatto, my classic lasagna. With rich layers of pasta, a hearty meat sauce made from organic veal and pork mince, and a gooey trio of cheeses baked to perfection, this dish is the heart of the holiday food.
Pro tip: make an extra tray because one is never enough.
Porchetta (Main)
For the main event, it’s all about the Porchetta. A succulent, herb-infused rolled pork belly with crispy crackling, is worth every moment of preparation. My dad Paolo has been perfecting his porchetta recipe for over 20 years, a centrepiece that will have your guests coming back for seconds and leftovers are also great the next day in a panino, yum!
Limoncello Tiramisu (Dessert)
Finally, ending on a sweet note with my Limoncello Tiramisu. This zesty twist on the traditional dessert swaps coffee for refreshing Limoncello, blending fluffy mascarpone with a hint of white chocolate. It’s light, citrusy, and the perfect way to round off the Christmas meal.
