Introducing Authentic Italian,
our Cookbook.
Authentic Italian brings together classic dishes we grew up with, the flavours of Abruzzo and Calabria, and the stories that shaped them. Each recipe is introduced by Vincenzo’s wife Suzanne, whose fresh perspective and heartfelt storytelling open a new chapter for Vincenzo’s Plate, while tips from Vincenzo, Nonna Igea, professional chefs and other family members, deepen the connection to tradition.
With full-colour photographs showing off every single dish and recipes made for sharing, this book invites you to cook with love, honour family, and create memories at your table.

It is best to refer to the retailer you purchase the book from however it will likely be closely aligned with the above release dates. Keeping in mind, actual dates books will be delivered to individual addresses will be dependent on the buyers location and the relevant shipping provider their retailer uses which we have no control over.
If I have placed a pre-order, do I need to take any further action?
Not at all! A pre-order means you have secured your copy, so now you just eagerly await your delivery – we can’t wait to be with you in your kitchens soon!
Where is the book available? Country Availability.
If you go to our pre-order landing page and select your country via the drop down, then click on “Retailer”, anywhere it is sold direct in your country will appear.

Stay tuned for announcements of signed copies being available for purchase both in AU, and globally.

We will not be running events in conjunction with the book launch at this stage however sign up to our mailing list and be the first to know when any do come up!
If I don’t pre-order, will I still be able to purchase the book once it is released?
We encourage you to pre-order in order to secure your copy. There is no guarantee any copies will be left once the book is released and it is at the discretion of our publisher whether to print any more – so right now, copies are limited!
Why isn’t the book hardcover?
In order to keep the cost of the book down, we went with a paperback for this version of the book – this also meant we could keep a full colour picture assigned to every single recipe – and sometimes multiple images. This was a very important part of our mission for the book!
Is there an e-book version available of the book?
A Kindle / eBook version of the book is available as an option on any e-tailer where the book is available.
Will you be translating the book into other languages?
Not at this stage, but we will keep you posted if we do!
Can you give us a list of the recipes included in the book?
We won’t be providing an exhaustive list of recipes included in the book, however many signature classics are included along with a few new ones that have never been shared previously.
What measurements are the recipes provided in/what skill level do you have to be to follow the recipes well?
Both metric and imperial measurements are included and recipes vary when it comes to skill but very simple instructions are provided so nothing should be too difficult. I’d say the recipe that takes the longest is probably Nonna Igea’s Timballo because you have to make the individual crepes before assembling all the ingredients.
