Best complementary sides

Firstly, best served with a side of my delicious spinach and cherry tomato frittata accompanied by fresh carrot, celery a side of mayonnaise and bread sticks.

Use chilled sparkling wine

Ensure that the sparkling wine or Prosecco you use is well-chilled to maintain the cocktail’s refreshing and effervescent qualities.

Serve immediately

For the best taste and texture, serve the Bellini cocktail immediately after preparation to enjoy its vibrant flavors and effervescence.

Bellini Cocktail

Equipment

  • Champagne flute or long neck martini glass

Ingredients

  • 60 ml Peach nectar, chilled
  • 90 ml Italian Prosecco, chilled
  • tbsp Strawberry syrup
  • Large fresh strawberry
Prevent your screen from going dark

Instructions

  • Pour 60ml of peach nectar into a glass.
  • Add 90ml Prosecco and a touch of strawberry syrup.
  • Make a slit into the centre of a strawberry, being careful not to cut it in half.
  • Slide the strawberry on to the rim of the glass.
  • Serve with snacks as desired.

How to Serve Bellini Cocktail

To serve a Bellini cocktail, start by choosing ripe and tasty fruit like peaches or strawberries. Peel and blend the fruit until smooth, then strain it for a smooth texture. Additionally, chill your preferred sparkling wine or Prosecco.

Furthermore, in a champagne flute, add a spoonful of the fruit puree and pour the chilled sparkling wine gently over it. Stir gently to mix the flavours. Garnish with a fresh fruit slice, such as a peach or strawberry. Lastly, serve immediately and enjoy the delicious sweetness and fizzy bubbles of this classic cocktail.
