The Itinerary
Day 1: The Royal Welcome & Poolside Paradise
Your private transport collects you from Rome – not a single transfer to arrange. Arrive at your stunning Abruzzo castle, check in, and exhale. A chilled farro salad and premium wine are waiting by the pool. The evening: a 4-course dinner in the castle, paired with the finest local wines. This is how we begin.

Day 2: The Farm Stay, Gnocchi & The Barrel Room
A breathtaking countryside farm stay, where a local Pasta Master shares her decades-old gnocchi secrets and the traditional Abruzzo Fiadone. You’ll taste produce grown steps away. In the afternoon, a winery visit – then back to the castle’s ancient Barrel Room for a premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil tasting and dinner among the vines.

Day 3: The Remote Stone House & Pasta Perfection
A remote, rustic stone house that feels like a film set. Authentic fresh egg pasta from scratch, followed by traditional cheese making with a local master. The afternoon brings a stroll through an ancient Abruzzo village, the famous local pastry, and an aperitivo in the main piazza – La Dolce Vita at its purest.

Day 4: The Art of Pasta & A Feast Under the Stars
A pilgrimage to Italy’s most revered pasta producer – 100-year-old machines, ancient methods, quality unmatched anywhere on earth. Then lunch on a Trabocco, a traditional fishing pier suspended over the Adriatic Sea, and gelato in San Vito Marina. The night ends with a private concert at the castle and the legendary Arrosticini feast.

Day 5: The Golden Truffle Farewell

FAQs
What is included in the tour? Are flights included?
Transfer direct from Rome and return*, all transportation for the week and meals included, with breakfast served daily in the castle. All you need to sort is your flights and any souvenirs you can’t resist.
What airport should I book and how does the tour start?
We work very closely with a hotel in Rome which is where we recommend you stay the night before the tour starts. We can provide more details on request however it is most convenient for you to stay there as it is also the meeting and pick up point on Day One. It is more common to fly into Fiumicino airport but it is entirely dependent on where you are coming from. Best to check with your local outbound travel agent to be certain.
I have food sensitivities or allergies; can I still join?
Absolutely. Whether you’re vegetarian or have specific allergies, simply let us know when you book. Every single meal will be just as spectacular for you as for everyone else – we don’t do a lesser version.
Will Vincenzo be there for the entire tour?
Vincenzo will be a part of the entire experience. While he may not be by your side every second, it is likely because he is assisting with some of the planning in the background! This tour means so much to Vincenzo and he is thrilled to be spending this 10 year anniversary experience with selected lucky guests.
Is the tour suitable for groups or families?
The tour is suitable for small groups of families or friends, however we do not accommodate young children. Guests must be 21+ in order to join the tour – and to truly savour the experience.
Can I join as a solo traveller? Can I share a room with other solo travellers?
You can definitely join as a solo traveller! We always attract a wonderful group of friendly, joyful individuals excited to experience “the real Italy” together. There is a single supplementary fee however we try to keep this cost as low as possible and we can certainly reach out to other guests to ask if they are interested in sharing a room.
When do the tours run?
The 2027 tours run Sunday to Sunday: June 20–27 and July 4–11. These dates sell out well in advance – often more than a year ahead. If you’re interested, reach out now rather than wait. Spots are strictly limited to 15 guests per tour.
